Indian Fenugreek Seeds (Methi) – Export Grades and Specifications
Friya International supplies and exports Indian fenugreek seeds (methi) in machine-cleaned and sortex-cleaned grades. Fenugreek has a firm, slightly bitter seed with an aroma often compared to maple syrup. It is used in curry powders and spice blends, in pickling, as a natural flavouring, and in the nutraceutical and herbal extract industries.
India is the largest producer and exporter of fenugreek in the world. Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh account for the majority of national production, and the crop is harvested between February and March. We supply whole seed, and ground fenugreek on request.
